Fostering Exchange and Learning through Conscious Dialogues

In April, several FLAC members, including funders and the Design Team, will gather virtually to engage in the first round of Conscious Dialogues, a series of small-group conversations facilitated by the Transformative Learning Working Group.

The Conscious Dialogues are an opportunity to deepen and accelerate relational learning processes and the cross-pollination of perspectives between FLAC members and allow us to identify and fine-tune cutting-edge funding practices that can help foster movement building, learning, and cross-movement exchange as regards feminist climate justice work. The Conscious Dialogues will also allow FLAC members to detect and assess funding gaps and continue to co-create new ways of funding with which to experiment.

This series of dialogues aligns with FLAC’s objective to collectively generate knowledge by bringing funders, practitioners, advisors, and eventually grantee partners together to co-construct, exchange, and create grantcraft strategies that help consolidate and advance gender, climate, and environmental justice.

After collecting the learnings from the first Conscious Dialogues round in Tbilisi, we intend to hold a second round between May and June with new FLAC funder members. We’re looking forward to sharing the outcomes of these exciting exchanges with the greater FLAC group soon.
